Welcome! I am Birgitte and I am so glad you’re here! I am a branding photographer specializing in product, food, and portrait photography. I am based in the beautiful upstate of SC, nestled in the foothills of the breathtaking Blue Ridge mountains.
It all started with an egg…
Through my journey of discovering who I was as a photographer, I had ventured down many different genres, trying each one on for size. Landscape, nature, family portraits, real estate, to name a few. During this self development process, a sweet friend of mine, who was starting her farmstead business, gave me a couple of dozen eggs for a farm work trade. These eggs told a story and I wanted to capture their beauty through my lens. Developing the stage to capture their beauty, something within my creativity ignited. I found my niche! I knew instantly this was “home” and the passion of using my photography for other businesses blossomed. Birgitte Colson Photography was born.
As a small business owner, I understand the struggles of making your brand seen. It takes a lot of dedication, hard work, and consistency. Understanding these challenges, it is my passion to work with you, a fellow small business owner, to overcome these challenges and help elevate you and your brand.
